The new house has increased separation anxiety from the dog

Hello, all I have is a dog with a history of separation anxiety. When I first got him 8 years ago, when he was about a year old, we almost got kicked out for barking at him. I fixed it by first taking him to doggy daycare, then going to the dog park for over an hour every morning to tire him out, until he was finally more or less okay (or at least not barking) when left alone. Now I had to move to a different state for work, and the barking came back. I know my own anxiety increases with all the changes, so it’s not surprising, but it’s stressful for both of us. Also, we are now in an apartment complex whereas before we were in a 2nd floor, so there are people walking through our door who weren’t there before. Luckily I don’t start work until this Friday, and I’ve been trying to be home as much as possible to help him get used to the new place, but today when I came back from a Target run I heard him barking 🙁 He’s going to be checked for daycare for dogs tomorrow and I’ll probably take him at least every other day for a while so he’s busy those days and tired on the days I don’t take him.I’m a little worried he’ll overdo it though since he’s 9 now.Does anyone have Any advice on how I can help him adjust to his new home?
