Do I need to be less extroverted?

my last relationship (6 years duration) my (m22) girlfriend (f22) would be very upset if friends and mutual acquaintances approached me. This was to the point where they would just say hello to her and literally jump into my arms (I’ve always been a hugger to my friends), when we were in school all my teachers loved me even though I was a horrible student and she resented me for that because I had straight A’s and had a hard time with those teachers. I have always been an outgoing person and more so now that I am an adult and I am no longer paralyzed by shyness. She would be mean to me because of this and she would vent really mad at me about how I have it easy because I’m nice. Move on to adulthood. I’ve never had a job that someone else didn’t help me get, and for her, that was cheating on me as an adult because I’m not doing it all by myself. So my questions are, is it ever a problem to be nice? Would this be considered an attention grabber? Should I try to re-book him for my future relationships? TL; DR: In my last relationship, I got a lot of backlash for being outgoing and friendly, and I want some input on whether these might actually be bad traits of someone you’re in a relationship with.
