Take part in the Piano Jam, the friendly monthly challenge for all pianists! [July 2022 #107]

Hello, Welcome to Piano Jam, a non-competitive piano challenge for beginners, professionals, classical, jazz or pop pianists and everyone in between! Pick a piece from the list below, learn it, and post a performance using the **Piano Jam** style before the end of the month. Perfection is not expected! — The next piano jam will be published around **August 4-5**. Suggest any pieces that you would like to have in the next piano jams. [here](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd5U5DA0OjN1HeaK-5Ue_s92HeZ5ud_2OynMb0WoKt1BPPwrg/viewform), we would appreciate any suggestions for pieces from the Anime/Movie/Other category or anything else you’d like to see listed. The jazz and ragtime sections are handled by u/abnormal_human, thanks! ### Guidelines If you are new to /r/piano, Piano Jam is a monthly event where you have the opportunity to challenge yourself to work on a piece of music and share your playing with the community. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we’d love to hear you play! Check out the guidelines below and see all previous piano jams in the sidebar. You are encouraged to share a recording (of YOU playing) in a post on /r/piano at any time during the month. **Please tag post “Piano Jam” or “[Piano Jam]” somewhere in the submission title, so we know what the post is for. People have posted before without this tag, and of course it’s not the end of the world, but it does mean we could lose your submission! * * Please try to use YouTube / SoundCloud / Bandcamp for your links for accessibility and reliability, but any link is allowed. * You don’t have to complete or refine pieces to submit them, and don’t be afraid to simplify/shorten pieces. Also, don’t be afraid to improvise or write your own ending to a piece of looping video game music, etc.*This is not a contest!/piano community.*For classical pieces, the estimate of the ABRSM rating is in parentheses – the source of the estimate is [piano grade aggregator](http://pianosyllabus.com/default.php) * You don’t have to limit yourself to just one piece, you can send as many as you want as long as they belong to the list. * If you have pieces that you would like to suggest for future Piano Jams, please use our [suggestion form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd5U5DA0OjN1HeaK-5Ue_s92HeZ5ud_2OynMb0WoKt1BPPwrg/viewform). * Late shipments are allowed. Your presentation can take up to two months, it must be written in the title of the presentation which month the presentation belongs to. — ### Classical * Gretchaninov – [Fairy Tale from Children’s Album op 98 no 1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC4FR2HcLsY) | [Music Sheet](https://s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/2/25/IMSLP11414-Gretchaninov_-_Op.98_-_Children’s_Album.pdf) [1-2]
