Considering the rate and number of high income earners struggling with obesity and being overweight, one will accept the reason why doctors and health coaches are asking thousands of dollars from patients suffering from the disease. It wasn’t until I visited my grandmother and was amazed at her accelerated rate of losing up to 30 pounds in just a fortnight without paying a cent to a health coach or receiving a bill for monthly pills. Correct.
Being overweight and obese are important risk factors for a number of chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Once considered a problem only in high-income countries, overweight and obesity are now increasing dramatically in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in urban settings.
I received a call from my grandmother just 2 weeks after her visit to attend my birthday. She invited me to a special dinner that was Mother’s Day. I was so looking forward to meeting the rest of my siblings again and so I took a day off from my job and left on the second day with my girlfriend to spend a night with her. I got there in the afternoon and was so in awe of the young looking damsel that she opened the door to welcome us when I pressed the bell. Incredible, my grandmother has lost up to 15 kg in less than 3 weeks since we left. I was waiting for her to bring some boxes of pills when I asked her the secret behind her rapid weight loss. Corn silk? Impossible was my answer when she told me. My grandmother smiled, sat me down and explained how she uses Cornsilk, Honey and Lemon to reduce 15Killo of fat in just 2 weeks. I found it very hard to believe him until I did some in-depth research on the usefulness of Cornsilk and was convinced.
Cornsilk, known botanically as Zea Mays, is an herbal remedy made from stigmas, the yellowish, thread-like strands found inside the husks of corn. The stigmas are found on the female flower of corn, a grain that is also known as maize and is a member of the grass family (Gramineae or Poaceae). According to my grandmother, Ella dries the Cornsilks and keeps them at home, instead of her morning coffee, she always has Cornsilks added with lemon and pure honey. According to her, to make this work faster, “I stop eating foods with cholesterol but I focus a lot on cornsilk tea.”
With reference to My studies, I could see that Cornsilk is also useful as a cure for heart problems, jaundice, malaria. Cornsilk is rich in vitamin K, which makes it useful for controlling bleeding during childbirth. In conclusion, I will recommend the use of Cornsilk for those who struggle with obesity, as it is natural and without any side effects, instead of spending money on pills that rarely show any effect.
